Sivananda Yoga, Pranayama

Marietta teaches yoga in the tradition of Sivananda and combines her classes with powerful pranayama exercises. For her, yoga means much more than physical practice – it is an inner journey, a spiritual path that reminds us of our own source.

In everyday life, we often feel that it is time to pause. Time to give space to the soul and gently restore the body to its natural balance. Yoga is not just gymnastics or relaxation. At its core, it opens us up to a deeper experience: overcoming the illusion of separation and recognising our unity in spirit. The goal of the practice is to re-experience the ‘lost unity’ with infinite consciousness.

Marietta's classes invite you to immerse yourself in your own silence. Step by step, very gently, you will be guided – even without any previous experience. This creates a safe space where you feel supported and can rediscover your own strength.

Marietta's journey to yoga began at a time when her life was turned upside down by profound experiences. In her search for answers, she found a source of strength and healing in the practice of yoga. She experienced how deeply yoga can touch a person's inner self and release hidden powers. From this experience grew her heart's desire to help others develop their inner strength and gain confidence in their own power.

As a nature lover, garden architect and yoga teacher, Marietta lives in harmony with nature. On her farm in Lower Austria, she grows vegetables, fruit and herbs – foods full of vitality that she uses to nourish and strengthen people during her retreats. Her farm is a place of peace, healing and connection – a place of power where body, mind and soul can find balance again.
