We are extremely pleased to welcome a selection of renowned yoga experts throughout the year to bring inspiration and positive energy to our guests.

Nicole Herrmann

My name is Nicole Herrmann and I have been practising yoga for over 10 years. In the last few years, something essential has changed in me - I have become more serene, compassionate, loving and grounded. The yoga and mediation practice have shown me how to deal with the demands of everyday life, but also with challenging feelings such as pain, insecurity and restlessness. As a result, a feeling of lightness, joy and connection has developed.
Through a focused asana practice we build stability and allow the pent-up energies to flow freely again, pranayama helps us to clear the mind and focus on what is important, meditation creates a deeper connection to our true self and this leads to a sense of joy and serenity.
To enjoy this life we have been given to the fullest and to release fears is my goal for myself and others.
I did my training with Patricia Thielemann in 2011.

Frauke Henkel

Frauke is an Anusara Elements™ teacher and teaches in Munich. Her own longstanding yoga practice and enthusiasm for the therapeutically oriented style of Anusara®Yoga led her to the desire to pass on her knowledge and experience to others. She completed her teacher training with Tina Lobe (yogatribe, Berlin) in 2014, various complementary workshops and the Anusara®therapy training with Barbra Noh in 2015.As a mother of two children, it is particularly important for Frauke to recommend yoga to pregnant women and mothers. Convinced that a regular, specialised yoga practice can greatly help to prevent or alleviate discomfort during pregnancy and also support mothers in finding their own centre again, she also regularly teaches "Yoga for Pregnant Women" and "Yoga for Mamas" (training in pre- and postnatal yoga with Lorna Neuber and Melanie Tressel, Berlin, 2011).

Sven Grünwitzky

THERE IS A VOICE, THAT DOES NOT USE WORDS.LISTEN! RUMI

I came to yoga more by chance after years of practising Daoist practices such as zazen, tai chi and qigong.A sense for the energetic subtleties of breath, inner and outer movements and the simple depth of stillness have remained.Holding open and inspiring spaces in which others can rest, discover themselves and grow is a wonderful activity. To look into soulful, moved, weeping and beaming faces in the most beautiful hours is the greatest gift. I am infinitely grateful for every such moment.

*

It is particularly important to me to accompany you in respecting your own breath, to meet yourself honestly and attentively and to gradually grow into the expanse of your own presence and find more inner freedom. Sometimes yoga gives us spontaneous insight, far-sighted clarity or deepest happiness. Sometimes we are confronted with our limits in a harsh or loving way, we discover unnoticed, hidden or lost aspects of ourselves. Or we unleash previously unknown energies. Sometimes, however, we may just encounter tiredness or boredom on the mat. So whether you are lying down, sitting or standing on your head, it is the starting point and place of experience in your life at this moment. Yoga doesn't always give us what we are looking for, but it often gives us an indication of what we actually need.

Alina Cording

Alina's heart beats for physiotherapy and yoga - and above all for the combination of both. After her Vinyasa teacher training, she also completed a medical yoga course.
Her yoga therefore combines many aspects. She loves to respond intuitively to the respective needs of her students and feels at home in both Vinyasa and Yin Yoga as well as in so-called athleticflow (a combination of yoga and HIIT).
Breath-Working in the form of breath meditations and also Sound-Baths with crystal singing bowls have also captivated her and enriched many of her classes.
Alina is looking forward to meeting you and finding your way.

Carmen Augschöll

Yoga teacher & winemaker in South Tyrol, Bressanone/Brixen
Yoga has been my daily companion for 6 years. I lived in Vienna for 5 years. My job involved a lot of traveling in the big cities of the world. Breathing techniques, meditation and conscious movements helped me to see the restless everyday life from a serene point of view. I decided to take a Hatha Yoga course in Vienna. I prefer to teach dynamic units that are physically challenging. You find access to yourself through the body. You become calmer and clearer.
I was born and raised at the Röckweingut in Villanders (South Tyrol, Italy), which I run together with my brother Hannes. Our doors are always open for a visit!
My yoga styleMy classes consist of conscious, flowing movement sequences - so-called flows. The breath connects with the movements. We reduce stress and tension, improve our physical as well as mental awareness, stimulate our creativity and ability to concentrate, and incidentally improve our muscular flexibility, strength and endurance. Breathe in together and revive!

Sarah Weissberg

Yoga has accompanied Sarah for over 13 years - through all of life's waters, and has always been a familiar anchor. Sarah's understanding of yoga practice has grown steadily over the years and has deepened, not least through the 200-hour teacher training in Bali. She finds: Yoga is for everyone. No matter if you are a newcomer or an advanced practitioner. Whether stretchable or not. Whether spiritual or not. Sarah wants to pave the way to yourself with her classes and let you recognise what you need - and what you want to let go of. In her classes Sarah combines gentle Hatha style movements with dynamic flowing and powerful elements from Vinyasa.
Sarah was born in Graz and lives with her small family in Munich.

Lisa Arndt

Let's flow, breathe and smile together to feel alive!
About me:
Even as a child, I spent a lot of time in nature, was always on the move and had to explore and discover everything. This has not changed much until today.I love learning new things, working creatively and am always looking for challenges. I'm sure that's one reason why I studied languages and sports science. My classes are about finding more peace and mindfulness for the mind as well, via a healthy physical alignment. My work on the mat is as contrasting as life itself: sometimes dynamic, sometimes calm, very powerful, very relaxed.

Sabine Klein

Sabine Klein teaches yoga in Berlin and, in addition to her teaching activities, trains yoga teachers in workshops and further training courses on the topic of "Sustainable practice into old age" throughout Germany.
Interested in the wealth of different yoga styles, her first training in Vinyasa Yoga was followed by further training in, among other things, the classical style according to Sivananda, Yin Yoga and yoga therapy. From these different yoga styles as well as other forms of movement, such as Feldenkrais, Sabine knowledgeably creates her own distinctive style.
The aim of her yoga practice is to stay healthy and flexible, to come to rest and to develop a better sense for oneself and one's environment. With great joy she teaches techniques that help to be better in the world instead of away from it.

Annette Söhnlein

She has been a yoga student since 1995 and has been teaching yoga since 2005 in Europe's first studio for Anusara Yoga (Cityyoga Berlin) and at prestigious yoga events, among others. Her focus is on therapeutic yoga for the back and pre/postnatal yoga, and since 2008 she has been successfully teaching hormone yoga therapy.

Lisa Burzin

Lisa Burzin teaches Vinyasa Flow Yoga with a touch of Pilates and a lot of heart.
Her classes are empowering and flowing, suitable for all levels and always spiced with lightness and humour.
Lisa teaches classes and private lessons in Berlin, where she lives with her family.
Since 2017 she has been running workshops and retreats in Berlin and Bad Gastein together with Annette Söhnlein.

Sarah Löper

In Sarah's yoga classes, strength and lightness are conveyed with great enthusiasm.
She is passionate about sharing her fascination for the body and her desire to help others feel at home in their own bodies.
This passion shapes her work as a physiotherapist, her personal training sessions with competitive athletes, as well as her yoga classes, which she offers mainly at the Yogaschool Berlin.
Since the birth of her two young sons, both her own yoga practice and the content of her yoga classes have changed. Originally coming from Ashtanga Yoga, her practice is now shaped by a wide variety of influences (including insights from fascia research) and personal experiences.
True to the motto "Quiet your thinking mind and wake up your feeling bodies", her classes contain many springy sequences, vibrations and pulsations of the body are absorbed and the focus on breathing frees the mind.
Performing beneficial movements in flow, combining strength and suppleness, feeling movements instead of thinking them and allowing new movement patterns with energy in order to release old blockages - these are the contents that are close to her heart, not only in the yoga classes.

Adelaida Atzmüller

Namastey!

I received my Nuad Thai diploma at the Old Medicine Hospital, Chiang Mai and in many other schools.

Alexandra Kleinheinrich-Umminger

Alexandra Kleinheinrich first worked as a TV journalist and now as a screenwriter and yoga teacher in Berlin. Her love of yoga began in London in the 90s when Asthanga Yoga was still as exotic as the first coffee shops. After her very first class, Alexandra was transformed: grounded in body, clear in mind and light in heart.
Her yoga path led her through Ashtanga and Anusara Yoga until Alexandra completed her teacher training with Spirit Yoga - Patricia Thielemann. Alexandra was a teacher at Spirit Yoga Berlin for almost a decade before going on to train internationally with Ana Forrest and Tias Little in somatic yoga methods. Today Alexandra teaches Somatic Yoga - sometimes powerful, sometimes flowing, sometimes restorative - guaranteed with humor and heart. When Alexandra is not on the mat, she sits at her desk and writes scripts.

Elle Todorova

My goal is to make yoga practice more inspiring and accessible to you. Through my holistic approach to well-being, we have learned that complete abundance begins with creating a connection between body and mind. I want to make yoga accessible to everyone and have created the Stretching Panda platform.
"I wanted to find a way to live in balance and harmony with my body. To live responsibly on earth and improve myself every day. The way to get there is to start with your own body and take responsibility for it. To create a healthy environment and look inwards to allow the connection between mind and body."

Clemens Frede

For Clemens, yoga is the teaching of how to cope with life and find happiness. In his yoga classes, the focus is on the student and the experience, as well as on teaching yoga as a tangible philosophy. Especially with beginners, he pays attention to a good foundation and healthy alignment so that his students can grow beyond themselves. Those who come out of his classes should feel liberated, balanced and happy - ready for a modern everyday life.
Embodied Flow™ is a relatively new method developed by Tara Judelle and Scott Lyons. It helps to develop sensitive mindfulness and to integrate body and mind. The awareness of the body in Embodied Flow™ allows for a clearer experience of the self. The practice bridges physical movement and meditation.

"... teach the yoga you feel. Open your heart, let go of your fear, let everything come to you. Take your feelings into the world." /// Scarlett Grande

Silvia Martinez

My journey through yoga began in 2010. Under the skillful guidance of a great yoga teacher in the southwest of France and my own curiosity, I fell into a deep and disciplined daily yoga practice that filled my heart with peace and happiness. I began to feel my own inner balance and the stillness of my mind. The discovery of these inner feelings made yoga my passion. Soon I decided that I wanted to share my passion with others, so I traveled to India where I became certified as a Vinyasa yoga teacher (YTT200h).
I teach vinyasa flow and power vinyasa classes, combined with pranayama and short meditations. During the practice I focus on breath, self-awareness and alignment, inviting students to explore and expand their own body and awareness.
Each year I attend various workshops and yoga classes to expand my knowledge and go deeper into my yoga and meditation practice, which is always very inspiring for my current yoga classes.
I share my classes with students as a journey to the heart and a way to connect with our most wonderful self, through self-discovery and self-knowledge. Yoga is a way to live our lives both on and off the mat, walking a path of happiness, love and a calmer state of mind.

Heike Wolf

Namasté
"I honour the place within you where the entire universe resides. I honour the place of light, love, truth, peace and wisdom within you. I honour the place within you where, when you are there and I am there, we are one."

I am Heike Wolf, yoga teacher and coach or what I prefer "reminder". I am a mother of two wonderful daughters and a wife, although I like the word "beloved" (feeling loved) better. I am the creator and owner of two wonderful retreat centres. I love teaching yoga because I feel permanently connected to my higher self in this work and work with my students from this connection. The coach in me is the turbo of the yoga teacher in me and vice versa. Both qualities together give me the opportunity to support people on their path to themselves, into their power, towards their full potential and to remind them of how unique they are.
